Recently, Yin Yong, the Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, conducted research on the development of the humanoid robot industry, visiting robotics companies in Changping District and Haidian District. He emphasized the need to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party, fulfill the deployment of the 13th Municipal Committee's 7th Plenary Session, treat the humanoid robot industry as an important lever for vigorously developing new productivity, improve the industrial development ecosystem, explore and expand application scenarios, accelerate the commercialization and large-scale application of humanoid robots and create a global leader in humanoid robot technological innovation and industrial clustering.
Noetix Robotics (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. officially entered the large-scale production and delivery phase this year. Its recently launched first high-performance humanoid robot priced at ten thousand yuan has received orders for thousands of units online and offline. Yin Yong learned in detail about the commercialization of the company's core products, R&D roadmap planning and observed displays of biomimetic robots, bipedal humanoid robots, etc. He inquired about the development demands of the company’s leaders and expressed hopes for the company to continuously optimize designs and launch more products favored by users. He also urged them to increase brand promotion efforts to enhance product market awareness and competitiveness.
Beijing Accelerated Evolution Technology Co., Ltd. is an entrepreneurial company that has achieved global large-scale production and delivery. So far, the accumulated global shipment of its humanoid robots has approached 1,000 units, with over 40% in overseas markets. Yin Yong inspected the humanoid robot product displays, learned about the development of the self-researched ecological platform and the characteristics of humanoid robot products. He pointed out that the future market for humanoid robots is vast and encouraged the company to seize opportunities, deeply integrate into the development ecosystem of the Beijing robot industry, effectively utilize public service platforms, reduce costs and enhance efficiency to accelerate the commercialization and large-scale application of products, ultimately raising the company's influence and competitiveness.
During the visit, Yin Yong emphasized that, currently, with the rapid development of embodied intelligence, humanoid robots have transitioned from laboratory demonstrations to commercial applications, moving the industry towards a new stage. It is necessary to grasp the key opportunities in the development of the humanoid robot industry, accelerate research on cutting-edge technologies and underlying theories, intensify efforts to tackle key core technologies and promote more breakthrough results. Continuous expansion of application scenarios for humanoid robots is essential; effectively utilizing pilot test bases and achievement incubation platforms will accelerate the transformation of research results from labs to applications. We must ensure services and support for robotics companies, focusing on critical aspects such as common technology breakthroughs, building open ecosystems, developing pilot test platforms and implementing application scenarios, while strengthening support in funding, policy and talent. We should cultivate a number of key enterprises gradually, integrate upstream and downstream resources and form an industrial clustering effect. We must strengthen the leading role of robot standards, accelerate the formulation of industry standards in the robot field and enhance our capabilities in standard-setting and implementation. Enhancing international communication and cooperation is vital; we should continue to successfully hold brand events such as the World Humanoid Robot Championship and support local robotic companies to “go global,” while attracting international organizations and enterprises to come to Beijing for exchange, jointly promoting innovation and development in the global robot industry.
