CCTV Focus on the High-Tech Fair: Global Buyers Gather to Seek ‘Chinese Technology’
Nov 18, 2025

From November 14-16, 2025, the 27th China International High-Tech Achievements Fair concluded in Shenzhen. As a key platform for technology transactions highlighted by CCTV News, this exhibition attracted 4,300 exhibitors and over 800,000 professional visitors from around the world, with international buyers accounting for 18%, covering 27 countries and regions. The Noetix Robotics booth at the Asian Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Exhibition, scheduled for the 12th, became the focal point for CCTV cameras and international buyers due to the "hardcore capabilities + practical applications" of three robots.

Three Robots Showcase: From Technological Breakthroughs to International Recognition

1. N2 Xiao Wantong: The "Athlete" That Captivated Overseas Buyers

This 1.2-meter tall, 30-kilogram humanoid robot is equipped with 18 self-developed high-performance joints, with a knee joint torque of 150N・m, enabling it to run at 3.2m/s and perform continuous flips. It has previously won the runner-up in the robot half marathon and the champion of the free gymnastics at the World Humanoid Robotics Games. At the exhibition, N2, wearing a traditional facial mask and holding an Yongge stick, showcased the Chaoshan Yongge Dance, merging traditional culture with technology, which was captured throughout by CCTV reporters. The EDU developer version, which supports secondary development through an open SDK interface, attracted attention from overseas educational institutions, receiving interest in collaboration from universities in Singapore and Malaysia during the exhibition.

2. Biomimetic Hobbs 3: The "Empathy Expert" Under Constant Watch by Italian Buyers

As the world's first mass-produced biomimetic robot, Hobbs 3, with 32 degrees of freedom in its facial expressions, can accurately replicate over 200 types of human micro-expressions, mimicking pouting, frowning, and more with lifelike precision. Equipped with a large language model, it can achieve emotional interaction through expression recognition and perform tasks such as guided tours. In CCTV News footage, Gianluca, a medical device buyer from Italy, repeatedly watched the guided demonstration of Hobbs 3 and expressed interest in a collaboration for a "customized medical assistance version": "Its fine operation and emotional interaction capabilities have a huge market in Europe's elderly care and medical fields."

3. Wheeled W1: Gaining Key Attention at Its Debut

W1 is the first immersive interactive wheeled biomimetic humanoid robot with 32 degrees of freedom in its head, featuring a lifelike appearance comparable to a wax figure, autonomous navigation, and precise obstacle avoidance functions. Its end-to-end multimodal large model can accurately understand conversational contexts, enabling real-time smooth multilingual emotional interactions while simultaneously displaying rich expressions and vocalizations to provide users with an exceptionally immersive interactive experience. The guided demonstration at the site drew the attention of the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Group’s procurement team due to W1's independent reception capabilities.

On-Site Popularity Explodes: CCTV Praises "Competitive Edge of Domestic Robots"

The Noetix Robotics booth maintained high popularity throughout the exhibition, with CCTV News notably reporting: "The core components of Noetix Robotics have a domestic production rate of 100%, with costs significantly lower than similar products from Japan and South Korea, giving overseas buyers a refreshing surprise." Local resident Mr. Lin brought his child to watch the demonstrations repeatedly: "The expressions of Hobbs 3 are so realistic that having robots accompany the elderly and help children will no longer be a problem!"

Technological Core + Future Layout: Domestic Robots Moving Towards the Global Market

Noetix Robotics, established in 2023, has a core team from elite institutions such as Tsinghua University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has completed two rounds of financing exceeding 100 million yuan. Its independently developed motion control algorithms and joint drive systems break the monopoly of imported technology, endowing its products with international competitiveness. On-site staff, in an interview with CCTV, stated: “The High-Tech Fair is a ‘window’ for domestic technology to enter the world. Currently, the company is also gradually advancing into overseas markets, allowing robots to transition from being ‘eye-catching at exhibitions’ to 'global implementation'.”
